Incident Log
14 counted visits · 7 violations observed · 7 clear · 6 anecdotal entries (not in analysis)
Systematic tracking — April 16, 2025 onward
Each visit logged regardless of outcome. Includes two prior visits (no photos; date approximate) that were the impetus for this project — both violations. These entries form the dataset for the Bayesian analysis on the home page.
White Nissan Murano parked in the handicap spot; no placard visible on the rearview mirror and no disabled-plate marking.
Two vehicles. According to the daycare owner, one is an employee's car; the situation has existed for months.
Vehicle was a gray sedan. No photo captured; hands occupied carrying a food tray. Another parent independently reported the same vehicle.
Driver wearing scrubs.
Mode HVAC company truck; license plate MODE9 (modecomfort.com). Truck departed before a photo could be captured. I called the company to report the driver.
date approximate — recalled, not contemporaneously recorded
Second of two consecutive violations preceding the start of systematic tracking; together with April 16, formed a three-in-a-row pattern.

Pre-tracking — anecdotal photos
Before April 16, 2025, I occasionally photographed violations without recording non-violation visits. These entries are shown for evidentiary completeness but are excluded from the statistical analysis: including them would overstate the violation rate, since I only captured positives.
anecdotal — not in analysis
Same red vehicle (daycare employee) observed in prior entries; parked in the handicap spot without placards or plates. Excluded from the count to preserve the independence assumption for repeat offenders.
anecdotal — not in analysis
Opportunistic photo taken before systematic tracking began.
